Google hit with $268m fine by French regualator
Google has been hit with a €220m ($268m) fine by French watchdogs for unfairly favouring its own tools for buying and selling adverts. The ruling has led to Google pledging to change its practices by changing how its Ad Manager platform and AdX exchange operate. The decision could present an opportunity for publishers who feel they have been disadvantaged to seek damages from Google.
