Alphabet to buy smart glasses firm North for $180mn - report
Google is on the verge of buying Canadian smart glasses company North in a deal worth a reported $180 million. The Globe & Mail was the first outlet to report the news, citing sources that said that Ontario-based company is in the “final stages” of hammering out an agreement with Alphabet. The piece added that North is "effectively being stripped of its parts" by Google's parent company.
