Apple slapped with $1.2bn fine by French anti-trust body
Apple has been hit with a $1.2 billion fine by France's competition watchdog for illegally restricting how wholesalers sell Apple products. Two of Apple’s wholesalers, Tech Data and Ingram Micro, have also been fined, to the tune of 63 million euros and 76 million euros respectively, for unlawfully agreeing on prices, Reuters said. Apple's fine is the largest ever handed down by the regulator.
