Cockroach Labs raises $160m
Database unicorn Cockroach Labs has raised another chunk of cash. The company has pocketed $160m at a valuation of $2bn. It comes just eight months after the firm raised $86 million. This latest round, its Series E, was led by Altimeter Capital. Cockroach Labs has built CockroachDB, the cloud-native SQL database. The company's revenue more than doubled during the course of 2020.
