Data stolen from New Zealand's Central Bank in major cyberattack
One of the systems of the Reserve Bank of New Zealand, the country’s central bank, has been breached by an unidentified hacker. “The nature and extent of information that has been potentially accessed may include some commercially and personally sensitive information,” said RBNZ Governor Adrian Orr. The attack did not affect the bank’s main functions, which remain “sound and operational.”
