Facebook bans news on Australian site
Facebook has blocked all the news content in its Australian platform in an escalation of its dispute with the local government over the need to pay news outlets for content. The ban has also affected pages run by government and healthcare authorities and charities, such as FoodBank Australia. Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison said his government will not be intimidated by Facebook's move.
