Gelsinger rules out Intel UK chip factory, blames Brexit
Intel CEO Pat Gelsinger has ruled out building a semiconductor factory in the UK. Speaking to the BBC, Gelsinger said the UK "would have been a site we would have considered" before its exit from the trading bloc. "Post-Brexit... we're looking at EU countries and getting support from the EU", he added. Intel is planning on investing around $95bn to boost its capacity over the next decade.
