Goldman Sachs has partnered with card issuing startup Marqeta to build the U.S. bank’s Marcus checking accounts. The goal is to create more personalised and feature-rich digital banking services for Goldman Sachs' customers. California-based startup Marqeta has seen a business boost this year as a consequence of COVID-19. Its backers include Goldman Sachs, Mastercard Inc and Visa.
