Google Fiber hit with $4 million exit bill from Louisville
Google has been slapped with an almost $4 million bill as part of an agreement to pull its fibre service out of Louisville. The funds will be used to removing fibre cables and sealant from roads, milling and paving activities, and the removal of above-ground infrastructure. Google announced its exit from the city in February earlier this year, citing technical challenges.
