Google hit by €150 million fine by French authorities
Google has been fined €150 million by France's competition authority. The punishment is for anti-competitive behaviour and for not being clear about advertising. Google has already forked out €1 billion to France this year in order to settle a fiscal fraud inquiry. European countries look set to continue their uncompromising stance on the industry's biggest companies heading into 2020.
