HP plans to cut up to 9000 jobs
HP Inc. plans to cut between 7,000 and 9,000 jobs—13% to 16% of its workforce, according to The Information. The move may be a sign of how incoming HP CEO Enrique Lores plans to tackle the declining PC and printer market, and boost share prices, after suffering a downturn of around 30% since last October. Shares dropped a further 2% after the announcement.
