Intel pitches latest neuromorphic computing system for AI workloads
Intel has released Pohoiki Springs, its latest neuromorphic computing system. Neuromorphic computing is a revolutionary approach using chips that function similarly to the human brain. It replicates the way neurons are organised; Pohoiki Springs has a computational capacity of 100 million neurons. Intel says this power will solve AI-related problems. The systems remain in the research phase.
