Intel turns its attention to HPC and AI solutions
Intel has unveiled its new Ponte Vecchio graphics chip at the Supercomputing 2019 event in Colorado. The new chips are built on Intel's Xe architecture, using the most advanced seven-nanometer process, and are designed to handle both high-performance computing and artificial intelligence. The new GPU will allow Intel to compete with the likes of Nvidia for AI and machine learning workloads.
