Intuit close to $7 billion Credit Karma acquisition
Intuit, the software giant in financial services, is lining up the $7 billion acquisition of personal finance portal firm Credit Karma. 85 million Americans use Credit Karma and this is seen as a deliberate move by Intuit to enter the consumer market. If completed, it would be Intuit's biggest acquisition. Credit Karma would still exist in its own right and Kenneth Lin would remain in post as CEO.
