Japan to take a tougher stance on tech giants
Japan will tighten its regulations to prevent the likes of Facebook and Google abusing their powers, and having an unfair advantage in the region. Companies will have to disclose the terms of contracts with customers and report to the government over operational matters. The decision follows the likes of The U.S and Europe in clamping down on "fake news", and tackling anti-trust concerns.
