Microsoft commits $1 billion to become carbon negative
Microsoft is investing $1 billion in carbon reduction technology, with the goal of becoming carbon negative by 2030. The company's Climate Innovation Fund will support companies and organisations, over the next four years, working on technologies that remove or reduce carbon from the earth's atmosphere. “This is the decade for urgent action for Microsoft and all of us,” said CEO Satya Nadella.
