Nvidia will limit the mining of crypto-currency Ethereum
Nvidia has announced that it will deliberately reduce the efficiency of its latest GeForce RTX 3060 card by 50% when it is used to mine the cryptocurrency Ethereum. The company said it had taken this decision to ensure its products "end up in the hands of gamers" and not crypto miners. However, Nvidia will also sell an independent crypto-currency mining processor, which will go on sale in March.
