Patreon reaches $4bn valuation after latest funding round
Patreon, the online where fans can support content creators has been valued at $4 billion after raising $155 million in its latest investment round. The round was led by new investor Tiger Global Management, with participation from Woodline Partners, Wellington Management, Lone Pine Capital and New Enterprise Associates. Patreon plans to use the funds to expand and create new tools for creators.
