Samsung to plough $8 billion into Chinese chip plant
Samsung is investing $8 billion in the production of flash memory chips in China. It comes as the market for such technology is set to boom ahead of increasing 5G demand. The firm has previously invested billions in its Xi’an plant. It is the world’s largest maker of NAND flash memory chips but refused to comment on this latest story.
