Torc Robotics taps AWS to support self-driving truck mission
Torc Robotics, a self-driving truck startup owned by Daimler, has linked up with AWS. It will use AWS's cloud services to help process data in real-time as vehicle testing ramps up. Torc is aiming to roll out level 4 autonomous driving technology, which is "the most difficult technical problem of our generation", according to its Chief Executive Michael Fleming. AWS will help Torc run simulations.
