Verizon and AWS to offer 5G private mobile edge computing to enterprise
Verizon Business is to offer private 5G mobile edge computing (MEC) to enterprises with AWS. Enterprises will be able to deploy a MEC platform fully integrated with AWS cloud services and Verizon 5G private networks to improve productivity, safety and operational efficiencies. “Private MEC is a natural expansion of our collaboration with Verizon,” said Dave Brown, VP Elastic Compute Cloud at AWS.
