WhatsApp suspends law-enforcement requests in Hong Kong
WhatsApp's parent company Facebook has suspended the processing of law-enforcement request for user data in Hong Kong. China has implemented new security measures on the city, known as the National Security Law. Facebook has said that it will not hand over user data from its WhatsApp messenger service until it has completed a review into the human rights implications of the new laws.
